New EPA rule could mean up to $16,000/day fines if violated
On August 29, 2015, the EPA and USACOE new Clean Water Rule, which seeks to clearly define “Waters of the U.S.” went into effect. There is great concerns among our clients as to how the rule will affect them. On August 28, a federal judge in North Dakota temporarily blocked the rule from going into effect in 13 states – not including Texas.
