PondMedics is paving the way in using drones (small UAS – unmanned aerial systems) in managing ponds, lakes, creeks, streams, wetlands and other surface water resources. Using the aerial data acquired from using drones, we’re able to map topography, high resolution imagery and infrared imagery for managing surface water resources. We are focusing heavily in how IR data can help us assess chlorophyl levels in the water, riparian vegetation health/density and wetland biodiversity. Using both fixed wing and multi rotor, we’re able to adapt to any project condition quickly. Real time data allows for better planning, decision making and execution with regards to our pond, lake, stream and wetland management.
